Full GarbPeasant to mid-class, I can suit you up for the Renaissance Faire! I use natural fabrics whenever possible, striving for authenticity and comfort at the same time.
Peasant to Mid-class bodicesMy bodices include at least one layer of strong fashion fabric (brocade, upholstry, tapestry), an interlining of canvas or denim, and a lining of denim or twill. I use steel boning, up to 10 pieces per bodice, depending on support needs. My current pattern is of my own drafting through much trial and error, and each bodice is custom fit to it's owner.
Peasant to Mid-Class Jerkins/DoubletsI use a layer of fashion fabric, and interlining of muslin, and lininig of denim.Again, each pattern is custom drafted to the wearer.
Chemises, Partlets, and ShirtsFrom simple chemises to peasant shirts to partlets and noblemen, always made out of cotton or linen.
Bloomers, Breeches, and SlopsMen's breeches and slops, women's bloomers, all you need for your lower half!
SkirtsFull circle skirts, with either a drawstring waist or buttoned waistband. Also, ribbon trim on the hem.
Hats!Flat caps, muffin hats, and baggins, oh my!
